Without the wisdom of Ifa, as passed down orally for many many generations thorough Ese Ifa (Ifa verses), our traditions are like those lost children. We need the wisdom of Ifa to better our lives, and the lives of those around us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Otura Owonrin teaches us:<br \/>\n\u201cIfa ni ti ba ji<br \/>\nOgbon ni ka maa ko \u2018raa wa<br \/>\nKa ma jii ni kutukutu pile e were<br \/>\nOro ti a ba ro ti ko ba gun<br \/>\nIkin eni laa kee si\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Ifa says that whenever we wake up<br \/>\nWe must be teaching each other wisdom<br \/>\nWe must not wake up at dawn and lay the foundation of foolishness<br \/>\nThat matter which we deliberated upon but could not arrive at a satisfactory solution<br \/>\nWe brought that matter to our Ikin Ifa\u2026\u201d<br \/>\nMy prayer is that we will all be continuing to share and spread the wisdom of our Ancestors as passed down through the Ifa corpus.
